Heather E. Saunders

Chief Executive Officer

Heather E. Saunders is chief executive officer and co-owner of Nova Arc Content Co. She has over 15 years of experience as a technical editor, writer, and proofreader specializing in the science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) and medical sectors.  

She launched her first company, Just the Write Type, in 2009 and delivered creative and technical content for Raytheon Technologies, Collins Aerospace, and Pratt & Whitney for six years. This included work for the Department of Defense including DARPA and all U.S. military branches, NASA, the Federal Aviation Administration, the Department of Transportation, and numerous internal departments.

Heather is the president of ACES: The Society for Editing, the nation’s leading editing organization. She holds a master’s degree in professional writing and a bachelor’s degree in journalism. She lives in Boston, Massachusetts.

Michael Caccamise

Chief Operating Officer

Michael Caccamise is chief operating officer and co-owner of Nova Arc Content Co. and has been a writer and editor in the aerospace, defense, technology, travel, nonprofit, and media industries for over 25 years. His work has appeared in USA Today, The Associated Press, FiveThirtyEight.com, Defense News, and numerous newspapers, as well as on the websites and social media of several international technology companies.

Michael provided communications, proposal, marketing, creative, and technical writing and editing support for 13 years to Raytheon Technologies, including its Collins Aerospace and Pratt & Whitney businesses. This work helped support the Department of Defense including DARPA and all U.S. military branches, NASA, the Federal Aviation Administration, and the Department of Transportation. He has also provided services to Madden Media, Amzur, AWS, SAP, and Gannett, among others. 

He was a state and national award-winning sportswriter and then late-night news copy desk editor at the now-closed Tucson Citizen newspaper from 1998-2009. He holds a master’s degree in humanities and a bachelor’s degree in journalism. He lives in Tucson, Arizona.

Editor

Jessica Driver is a writer and editor with more than 15 years of professional experience. After a decade working in pharmaceuticals, she entered the technical and science writing fields. 

Before joining Nova Arc Content Co. in 2023, she was the content and social media manager for the nonprofit Grounded, where she researched and wrote articles on environmental and conservation topics, ghostwrote executive communications, and researched, wrote, and edited for the award-winning Climate Academy. Previously, she also served as technical writer and senior administrative assistant for Bank of the West, and was responsible for drafting and editing requests for proposals for the Government Banking Department.

She also served as an environmental outreach intern for Cool Davis and was the outdoors opinion and humorist columnist at The California Aggie. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English with an emphasis in creative writing and a minor in professional writing, and also has a social media marketing certificate from Cornell University. She is a member of ACES: The Society for Editing and lives in Little Rock, Arkansas.
